The Flow of God's True Love

Scripture Reading

"This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other." — 1 John 4:10–11 (NLT)

Living in God's true love is a continuous, beautiful process rather than a one-time event. It begins with the foundational truth that God loves us unconditionally. By faith, we receive His love deep into our souls, allowing it to teach us how to love ourselves properly as His children.

From that restored place, we give love back to God in worship and pass it along to the people around us. God's love was never meant to be hoarded; it needs to flow freely through us to others. If we hold onto it without sharing, our spiritual lives become stagnant. To keep receiving the fresh, daily fullness of God’s love within ourselves, this divine cycle must remain complete. Open your heart today and let His love pour into you, spill out to others, and return to Him in gratitude.

Reflection Question: Is there a relationship in your life where God's love has stopped flowing, and how can you restart that cycle today?
