Under Construction
The Big Idea: God makes everything beautiful in its own time!
Think about this: Have you ever watched a flower grow or a building being built? At first, it might just look like dirt or a big mess of bricks and dust. If you stopped looking then, you’d miss the beautiful part! Ecclesiastes 3:11 says God makes everything beautiful in its time. That means even if you feel like you’re taking a long time to learn something or grow, God isn’t in a rush.
Sometimes we make mistakes, like Peter did in Matthew 26:74-75 when he got scared and said he didn't know Jesus. He felt terrible and cried, but that wasn't the end of his story! God used that mistake to help Peter become a great leader. Hebrews 13:21 tells us that God will give you exactly what you need to do great things for Him. You are His "masterpiece" under construction!
Family Activity: "The Puzzle Challenge." Sit down to do a puzzle together. Talk about how the individual pieces might look strange or confusing on their own, but they are all part of a "perfect plan" that only becomes clear at the end.
