Ambassadors for Christ
Scripture Reading
"So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, 'Come back to God!'" — 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NLT)
God hasn't called a select few to share His grace—every believer is called to be an ambassador for Jesus. Around us every day, people are searching for the exact same hope, peace, and purpose that we long for. Many carry deep questions, feel unsure of what they truly believe, or find their actions contradicting their desires. They don't need a polished argument; they need someone who will truly listen.
When we engage with others, our role is to listen attentively for the key that opens their hearts to Jesus. You don't have to rely on your own eloquence or worry about having all the answers. As an ambassador, you carry the truth of the Word and the presence of the Holy Spirit. While the world often relies on excuses, God promises that when you trust Him, He will give you the right words at the exact moment you need them. Stepping out in faith builds confidence, allowing God to speak His love through you to a world waiting to be reconciled to Him.
Reflection Question: Who in your daily life might be waiting for a listening ear, and how can you rely on the Holy Spirit to share God’s heart with them this week?
