Potential

God recognizes our potential rather than pointing out our past. That’s what grace looks like. Jesus meets us where we are, but He never leaves us there. He sees who we were created to be and lovingly works to bring that person to life.

What’s so comforting is that Jesus still calls us by name today. He knows our stories, our struggles, and our missteps—and yet He doesn’t turn His back on us. When others define us by our worst moments, Jesus defines us by His purpose for our lives. He looks beyond the labels and sees the calling.

Jesus isn’t just aware of our past; He’s actively shaping our future. He walks with us, restores us, and helps us step into the blessings He has prepared. When He calls our name, it’s an invitation—to trust Him, to grow, and to become all that God intended us to be.

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
