“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today not our worries about tomorrow - not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No powers in the sky above or in the earth below - indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~Romans 8:38-39
God is intimately focused on every single moment of our lives, walking with us through every joy and every tear, and holding us close in both our best moments and our most difficult trials. He created us for one fundamental purpose: to love us, and His commitment to that love will never stop.
Unlike human affection, which can fluctuate or depend on our performance, God's love is entirely eternal and unconditional. It is anchored safely and securely in who He is rather than anything we could ever do to earn it. Because His character is unchanging, His devotion to us remains steadfast no matter what. In this life, you will search high and low, but you will never find a greater, deeper, or more faithful love than the love your Heavenly Father pours out over you every single day.
Reflection Question: How would your daily worries change if you truly lived every moment knowing that God’s love for you is based entirely on who He is rather than what you do?
