In a world that constantly ranks your worth by your achievements, social status, or appearance, it's easy to get caught up in the grind. But Paul lays it out clearly in Philippians 3:8: everything else pales in comparison to the supreme value of knowing Christ. Knowing God isn't just a religious duty; it's where you discover who you actually are and what you're truly capable of.
Too often, we hold back on our goals, passions, or faith because we feel underqualified or think we need to wait until everything aligns perfectly. But Colossians 3:23 calls us to work wholeheartedly right where we are, serving God rather than seeking human validation. Stop waiting for perfect timing or doubting your abilities. Mark 10:27 reminds us that while our human strength is limited, with God, all things are possible. Put your confidence in Him, take initiative, and step boldly into the potential He placed inside you.

Sit down as a family with paper and pens over dessert or snacks.
Have each person write down one project, goal, or area of life where they have been waiting for "perfect timing" or feeling self-doubt before taking action.
Pass the papers to the left! Each family member writes down one specific strength they see in that person and one practical step they can take this week (Colossians 3:23).
Pass the papers back and discuss what was written.
Pray together, asking God to give everyone the courage to step out in faith and trust Him with the results.
