Chosen for Purpose, Not Perfection
Scripture Reading:
"God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure." — Ephesians 1:5 (NLT)
God chose you long before you ever reached for Him, and His love is not dependent on your ability to be perfect. So many of us carry the exhausting weight of trying to perform or earn His approval, but God provides us with a divine purpose, not a demand for perfection. That is the beauty of true, unconditional love.
You don't have to clean up your life or fix every flaw before approaching Him. Through Christ, you are intentionally chosen, fully adopted, and permanently accepted into the family of God. You are no longer an outsider trying to prove your worth; you are a cherished son or daughter with a secure seat at the Father’s table. Rest in that unwavering acceptance today. Let go of the need to be flawless, embrace your God-given purpose, and walk boldly in the freedom of His grace.
Reflection Question: What area of your life have you been striving for perfection in, and how can you rest in God's unconditional acceptance instead today?
