God is with us

We can’t change our past, but God can use it to shape our present and guide our future. Sometimes it’s helpful to look back and to notice where our awareness of God shifted. Even when we feel distant, God hasn’t moved—He invites us to seek Him again.

Looking back helps us recognize when we felt close to God and what nurtured that—prayer, obedience, community, trust. It can also reveal what may be missing now. We can also reflect on harder seasons. Deuteronomy 4:29 reminds us that when we seek God wholeheartedly, we will find Him. Even in struggle, He was working.

Reflection isn’t about regret—it’s about recognizing God’s faithfulness. Through every season, He’s been present, providing, and ready to meet us again.

“But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him.” ~Deuteronomy 4:29
