Higher Perspective
It is so easy to get caught up in the immediate, overwhelming details of our daily routines. When we look at life strictly from our own limited point of view, challenges can feel insurmountable. That is why Paul gives us such transforming advice in Colossians 3:2:
"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."
When we intentionally shift our focus and begin seeing things from God's perspective, everything changes. From His vantage point, those massive mountains in our lives are revealed to be more like molehills. The overwhelming chaos we feel begins to look like organized, purposeful movement, and our deepest fears are beautifully transformed into a settling peace.
God sees and knows the complete, bigger picture for everything that is happening in our lives right now. He already sees the road ahead, handles the twists and turns, and promises to be with us every single step of the way. When we anchor our minds in His heavenly perspective, we can breathe easy, trusting that the One who sees the end from the beginning has everything perfectly under control.
Reflection Question: What is one "mountain" in your life right now that you can intentionally hand over to God, asking Him to help you see it from His higher perspective?
