Trusting the Navigator, Not the Map
We often think that having faith means having all the answers, but Proverbs 3:5–6 invites us into a much different reality. Faith isn't about deciphering the "why" behind every twist and turn; it’s about trusting the Character of the One who is holding the map. When we lean on our own understanding, we’re essentially trying to navigate a vast ocean with a tiny flashlight. We see the immediate wave, but God sees the entire horizon.
True peace comes when we stop demanding an itinerary and start trusting the Navigator. Acknowledging Him in all our ways isn't just a polite gesture; it’s a total surrender of our need to be in control. As we shift our weight from our limited logic to His infinite wisdom, the path begins to clear. We don't need to understand the detour to know that God is using it to get us exactly where we need to be.
Reflection Question: What is one "turn" in your life right now that you’ve been trying to figure out on your own, and how can you intentionally hand the steering wheel back to the Navigator today?
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” ~Proverbs 3:5-6
