Let God Work

It’s so tempting to "help God out" when we see a problem that needs fixing, isn't it? But John 8:10–11 shows us the power of waiting for His word. In that moment, the crowd was ready to act with stones in hand, but Jesus was doing a deeper work. If the woman—or even the accusers—had acted prematurely based on their own judgment, they would have missed the miraculous display of grace and the life-changing "go and sin no more."

When we rush to fix a difficult situation without giving God the room to finish His work, we risk short-circuiting the miracle. Asking for His will isn't just about getting a yes or no answer; it’s about syncing our heartbeat with His. When we pause to ask, "What is Your will here?", we aren't just seeking a solution—we’re seeking His presence. That intentional pause builds the defenses we need to stay in perfect step with His plan, leading us straight into the peace and the miracles He’s already prepared.

“Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, ‘Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?’ ‘No, Lord,’ she said. And Jesus said, ‘Neither do I. Go and sin no more’.” ~John 8:10-11
