The Joy of Getting Back Up

Scripture Reading:

"No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, in those who put their hope in his unfailing love." — Psalm 147:11 (NLT)

It has often been said that life isn't measured by how many times you fall, but by how many times you get back up. So many of us live with the crippling fear that when we trip up or make a mistake, God is standing over us ready to scold and condemn. But that is simply not His heart.

Instead of shaking His head in disappointment, our Heavenly Father actually rejoices when we choose to get back up. He doesn't hold our stumbles against us; He extends His hand, lifts us out of the dust, and even laughs with us as we brush ourselves off. There is a profound, healing joy in the beauty of hope—a joy that restores our weary souls and reminds us that His grace is always greater than our missteps. Keep standing up, resting fully in His unfailing love today.

Reflection Question: What past slip-up or failure do you need to stop beating yourself up over so you can receive God's restoring joy and stand back up today?
