Guard our Heart
Think of your heart as the control center for your entire existence. Every thought that crosses your mind, every emotion that bubbles up, and every action you take eventually traces its way back to what you’ve allowed to take root in your heart. Proverbs 4:23 isn't just a suggestion; it’s a vital survival skill. If our hearts aren't grounded in God’s Word, we become reactive to the world’s chaos instead of being responsive to His Spirit.
When we intentionally fill that space with His promises, something incredible happens: our default setting shifts. Instead of snapping in frustration or drowning in worry, His power enables us to meet trials with patience, compassion, and understanding. You don’t have to "try harder" to be kind when your heart is already overflowing with His grace. Guard your heart diligently, because everything you are flows from it.
“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” ~Proverbs 4:23
