Walking with Intention
If we truly believe God wants the best for us, our struggles can feel like a contradiction. We find ourselves asking, "If I’m in Your will, why is this so hard?" Ephesians 5:15–17 reminds us that we aren't living in a vacuum; we are walking through "evil days" that require us to be intentional, not accidental. The struggle isn't necessarily a sign that you're off-track; often, it’s simply the environment of a fallen world.
Instead of fighting the circumstances with our own limited strength, we are called to let God be our shield. He isn't just protecting us from the situation; He is building our internal defenses through it. By seeking His specific will for each moment, we trade our confusion for His wisdom. When we stop trying to outsmart our problems and start letting Him be our navigator, we find that His "best" isn't a life without storms—it’s a life where we are untouchable within them.
“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.” ~Ephesians 5:15-17
