Trading Our Lens for His

Most of us spend our lives looking through a cracked mirror. We see our mistakes, our limitations, and our past failures, and we assume that’s the final draft of our story. But Deuteronomy 28:13 challenges that small-minded vision. God doesn’t want us trailing behind our circumstances; He’s invited us to be the "head and not the tail."

The shift starts with a simple trade: giving God our imperfect, blurry vision and asking to see ourselves through His eyes. Imagine the person you could be if you truly believed you were positioned for influence and purpose. By letting God be the navigator of your story, you stop reacting to the road and start following the One who built it. Don’t settle for being a passenger in a life defined by just getting by. Look up, take the lead, and trust His perfect vision to guide you forward.

“If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.” ~Deuteronomy 28:13
