Super-Sized Love Story
The Big Idea: This week, we are discovering how much God loves us, how He protects us, and how we can be just like Him using Ephesians 1:4, John 3:16, Ephesians 5:1, John 16:33, and Isaiah 1:19!
Think About This: Have you ever built a giant Lego tower or painted a beautiful picture? If it gets lost, you don't stop caring about it—you go looking for it because it's your special masterpiece!
Ephesians 1:4 and John 3:16 remind us that God created the whole universe, but you are His absolute favorite masterpiece. Even if we take a wrong turn or make a mistake, God never stops loving us. He loves us so much that He sent Jesus to show us exactly how to live (Ephesians 5:1).
Life can sometimes feel like a scary, bumpy road, but Jesus promises in John 16:33 that He is holding our hand through every single storm. He even gave us His Word in the Bible (Isaiah 1:19) as a special safety rulebook—not to boss us around, but to act like a helper that protects us from getting hurt. When we choose to listen to Him, we get to experience His very best!
Family Activity: Find your favorite toy or stuffed animal. Hide it somewhere in the room and have a family member go look for it. When they find it, celebrate! Talk about how God celebrates and looks out for us every single day because we are His priceless masterpieces.
