God’s Cornerstones

Usually, we think of "lost" as a state of being wrong or broken, but through the lens of value, the perspective shifts beautifully in Luke 19:10.

Think of it this way: we don’t go on an exhaustive search for a pen we don't care about, but we’ll turn the whole house upside down for a misplaced wedding ring or a precious heirloom. We only "seek" what is worth finding. By identifying us as "lost," Jesus isn't highlighting our failure; He is highlighting our worth.

God didn’t send His Son on a rescue mission for something disposable. He sent Him because we are His "Cornerstones"—His treasures. To be "saved" means to be restored to our rightful place in the hands of the One who knows our true value. It’s the ultimate "Grace Gap" filled by Love.

“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” ~Luke 19:10
