Morning Reset

Lamentations 3:22-23 offers the ultimate reset button for the soul. When we fail, we often feel like we’ve used up our standing with God, but these verses tell a different story. His mercy isn't a reward for a job well done; it is an infinite reservoir that refills before we even wake up. Just as Jesus prayed for Peter in Luke 22:32 before the denial, He is already advocating for us in our mess.

His belief in us isn't based on our performance—it’s based on His faithfulness. We don't have to earn a fresh start; we simply have to receive it. Every morning is a "Grace Gap" where the pressure of yesterday’s mistakes is washed away by a love that never quits.

How does it feel to know that while our mistakes are written in pencil and can be wiped away by His mercy, our value in His eyes is always written in ink?

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” ~Lamentations 3:22-23
