Think About This
Did you know that knowing Jesus is better than having all the toys or video games in the world? Philippians 3:8 tells us that knowing God is the absolute greatest thing we could ever do! And guess what? God didn't make you to sit around wondering if you're good enough—He gave you special gifts and talents because He has big plans for your life.
Sometimes, trying something new can feel scary, and we wonder if we're smart enough or strong enough. But Mark 10:27 promises that everything is possible with God! You don't have to wait until you are older or perfect to make a difference. When you work hard at whatever you do—like being a good friend, practicing a sport, or doing your schoolwork—you are doing it for God (Colossians 3:23). Trust Him, take a brave step, and watch how He helps you unlock your amazing potential!
Family Activity: The "Gifts in Action" Obstacle Course
Set up a simple, fun mini obstacle course in your living room or backyard using pillows, chairs, or outdoor chalk.
Before each person starts, have them name one strength or gift God gave them (e.g., "God gave me kindness," "God made me fast," "God gave me creativity").
Cheer each other on as you run through the course!
At the finish line, celebrate by giving a high-five and declaring Mark 10:27 together: "Everything is possible with God!"
Remind everyone that whenever we try our best and use our gifts for Him, we honor God.
