Unconnected from God

In 1 Corinthians 2:9, we’re reminded that no eye has seen or ear has heard what God has prepared for those who love Him. That means our true potential is deeply tied to staying connected with Him. When we drift away, it’s not just about distance—it’s about missing out on the fullness of what He’s designed for our lives.

Then in Luke 15:8–10, Jesus tells the story of a woman who loses a coin and searches carefully until she finds it. That coin didn’t lose its value just because it was lost. The same is true for us. Even when we feel disconnected or off track, our worth hasn’t changed.

God doesn’t give up because He knows what He placed inside us. What’s lost still matters deeply to Him, and He actively seeks, restores, and rejoices when we’re found again.

“That is what the Scripture means when they say, No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” ~1 Corinthians 2:9

“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Won’t she light a lamp and sweep the entire house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she will call in her friends and neighbors and say, Rejoice with me because I have found my lost coin. In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.” ~Luke 15:8-10
