Woven with Intention

Ephesians 1:11–12 reminds us that our lives are not accidental or random—we were chosen with intention. Long before we ever had language for purpose, God had already woven meaning into our existence. Mark Twain’s words resonate deeply here: the day we are born matters, but the day we discover why we were born changes everything. Scripture tells us that God works all things according to His will, and that includes us.

Everything God creates carries purpose, and we are no exception. We were made by God, crafted with care, and we were made for God—to belong to Him, to reflect Him, and to live in response to His grace. Our personalities, gifts, experiences, and even our struggles are not wasted; they are all part of how He shapes us to live out what He designed us for.

While each of us has a unique role to play, all those roles point to one greater purpose: bringing His glory to earth. When we live aware of that truth, life becomes less about striving to define ourselves and more about faithfully walking out what He’s already declared. Purpose isn’t something we have to invent—it’s something we discover as we live anchored in Him, letting our lives quietly and boldly tell the story of His goodness.
